The Sales Consultant will be responsible for leading the sales motion with both existing and new clients. In the case of existing clients; the SSC will work in concert with the appropriate account teams and with new client sales be keen to prospect and call on Vice President level contacts. Once engaged, a consulting approach is used to build solid customer relationships whereby the SSC becomes a credible and consistent source of expertise within the account during the sales motion.Contact for details: Gary@GaryLouisNelson.comQualifications and Requirements• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Computer Science or equivalent of 7-10 Years Industry Experience• Minimum 7-10 years sales experience selling services or intangibles• Minimum 7-10 years selling Managed Services, Professional Services and/or Outsourcing in the telecommunications, service provider, system integrator, OEM industries a must.• Prior experience selling to the telcos, US Govt at the federal, state and local levels is strong plus• Must be willing to travel 50% or more• Knowledge of the Telco/OEM market segments with focus on outsourcing related to NCR retail and store front solutions, field services, professional services and logistics across all solutions WAN/LAN, Wireless, IPT, Telepresence, Advanced Services and Cloud Computing• Experience working in team-oriented sales approaches• Consulting experience a plus
