
The Public Relations and Communications Manager will report to the Senior Marketing Manager.

This position will be based in the New York or Boston office and will be primarily responsible for the development and tactical implementation of high-impact public relations initiatives that are consistent with the companies global communications strategy, and in line with the organization's business goals and group brand.Day to day responsibilities for this role will include, but not be limited to:- Managing all aspects of press and media relations, conferences, seminars and speaking and writing engagements;- Coordinating proactive press outreach and reactive media relations across offices, representing MaplesFS during interviews or events, and seeking input and involvement from seniormanagement when necessary;- Developing and maintaining a strong network of media contacts and staying abreast of developments and trends in communications and media/publishing to enhance our profitability.- Drafting and distributing internal and external announcements (e.g. press releases, articles, white papers, awards, general media advisories, newsletters, etc.) on behalf with from senior management;- Proactively assisting with the preparation and implementation of the annual media and advertising strategy (and related budget), including identifying media sources, nature of advertising, duration of campaigns etc;Tracking, obtaining and disseminating market intelligence (e.g. industry and competitive developments) to relevant stakeholders within the company- Maintaining current statistics on the business (e.g. AUA, mandates);- Tracking and completing industry surveys as relates to the company.- Liaising with senior professionals across offices to prepare for media interviews and supporting the roll out of media training initiatives;- Providing research and media pitching support based on a robust editorial calendar programme;- Actively identifying opportunities for placement of written articles, white papers, and other firmpublished commentary;- Implementing processes for maintaining media contacts, coverage reporting, activity tracking etc.;- Preparing and updating content for the Fund Services public websites;- Working closely with the global Marketing team to manage and utilise domestic and international events, seminars and programmes to ensure there is consistency and coordination of all PR efforts; and- Carrying out any other duties which may from time to time be required.Gary@GaryLouisNelson.com
