As we continue on this exciting path, we are in need of a senior level creative expert to provide input to our marketing approach, translate it to an actionable strategy, and direct tactics, planning, and execution. This individual must be able to work in collaboration with sales executives and team members in a highly self-driven manner within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Seeking an experienced Marketing Director who can build integrated marketing plans in service of increasing brand awareness and driving customer retention/usage. They will need to balance acquisition marketing with brand marketing as well as manage and develop a team of 5.
- Marketing strategy and leadership: Research, design plan, determine best to-channel and through-channel strategies and tactics, including social media. Address analyst viewpoints, guide team evolution, and collaborate closely across department Heads. Manage marketing and advertising projects to meet goals within budget.
- Content creation: Coordinate with designer and copywriter on white-papers, web content, social media, print collateral, and other visual content. Collaborate with Public Communications Head on aligning strategy and content.
- Demand generation: Consistently review and understand demand generation tactics and trends to determine which strategies best fit with company goals. Implement lead-generation programs and manage for effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop integrated marketing plans with metrics for the measurement of marketing program effectiveness.
- Determine appropriate KPIs of marketing plans and align to business goals.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget.
- Together with the President & Founder, oversee the brand identity and ensure consistent application across all marketing channels to drive the long-term growth
- Lead, inspire, grow, and manage a growing marketing team.
- Develop and guide the innovation of marketing campaigns for new product features.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with Sales to define effective sales channels for all products.
- Establish effective relationship with the sales organization to develop amazing content to ensure they are armed with the proper sales enablement tools to sell.
- Responsible for monitoring competitors and market to propel the company’s advantages.
- Work with Event Manager to identify and coordinate event sponsorships, including identifying new opportunities and managing materials development, sales outreach and follow up.
- Manage lead development of go-to-market strategy and plans for key product launches and partnerships, and work cross-functionally to execute those plans.
Qualifications:
- Strong B2B marketing experience in a similar marketing role and recruiting software industry.
- Experience marketing within the HR and Recruiting space.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including collaborative content editing and ability to reduce complex technical concepts into easily digestible content.
- Knowledge of SEO and demand generation fundamentals.
- Self-starter approach to identifying and accomplishing goals.
- A high level of comfort with data and pulling insights out of that data.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and work under tight deadlines and anticipate, communicate, and resolve issues with minimal guidance.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and take direction and input to develop effective and engaging programs.
