General Function: The Human Resource Manager is to provide leadership and direction for all human resource policies and activities.

Job Duties:
Oversee all hourly and salary staffing and on-boarding processes.Oversee and provide backup assistance for payroll processing forall hourly and salary employees to include time and attendancescheduling.Maintain and update attendance, recruitment, training and other employee related information on web based HRIS.Directly manages various employee benefit programs includingenrollment and updating of health insurance, short term and long termdisability and life insurance benefit programs data base filesManages Workers’ Compensation program including FROI and claims management.Assists Corporate and Plant Safety Managers with OSHA training and accident investigations.Maintains required local, state, federal and departmental records,postings and reports including I-9, E-Verify, EEO, FMLA and OSHA recordkeeping requirements.Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends othermeetings, such as seminars. Maintains company organization charts andemployee directory.Develops, recommends, implements and enforces personnel policies and proceduresMaintain a workplace free of union representation.Prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures.Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel,students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations;\Establishes and administers career path and training programs with local and regional educational technical schools resources.Employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing;Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.Working Conditions

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources management orrelated field and a minimum of 5 years human resources leadershipexperience in all disciplines related to the human resources fieldrequired.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired andexperience with continuous improvement and culture change would bebeneficial.

Computer literate with proficiency utilizing software products such as: MS Word, Excel, email applications etc.
Experience with FMLA, EEO, E-Verify and Worker’s Compensation administration and procedures
