One of our fastest growing IT Software Security clients is expanding and looking to add an enthusiastic, professional, and goal-oriented Director of Software Sales to handle their Midwest region team.

The Director of Software Sales works in a high level consultative role, developing sales opportunities within assigned territories across the United States.

The right candidate will have a history of success with establishing relationships with key decision makers up to the “C” level and have a proven ability to hunt, qualify, farm, maintain, penetrate and close opportunities within mid-market to enterprise accounts.


The Director of Software Sales is a field sales individual responsible for creating new business and growing their existing business accounts.

Our client leads the market in digital identity management solutions for data, devices, and applications. Their software platforms help their clients simplify the deployment and management of trusted digital identities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Director of Software Sales, you will be responsible for:

  • Meeting and Exceeding sales targets and goals
  • Sourcing new software sales business while growing existing accounts
  • Growing existing customer software business through prospecting and relationship building
  • Partner with your sales team to help manage and develop relationships in enterprise accounts
  • Consistent face time with potential clients on a weekly basis to win new business.
  • Partnering with the field team to help manage/develop relationships in key accounts

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals and assigned quotas with a minimum of 3 years of experience developing IT sales opportunities within mid-market and enterprise customers.

Past IT solutions should include any of the following: IT Security, virtualization, networking, security, cloud services or data center software.
