Seeking a seasoned B2C marketing professional to craft and implement consumer direct-response marketing programs that drive leads, increase market share, and grow brand awareness. The principal responsibility is to make the phone ring and stimulate leads through digital marketing programs (includes email and social media campaigns), public relations, and events.
This position will oversee and execute a broad range of projects including: website management, digital campaigns, event management, collateral development, and ownership of marketing automation tools, while working with other company departments to drive growth and ensure brand consistency.The successful candidate must be versatile, able make strategic decisions while balancing short-term deadlines against long-term goals and generating innovative solutions. The Marketing Director will possess strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, and must be able to manage time and resources effectively.This position reports to and works under the general supervision of the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and has supervisory duties over a small team of full-time employees and skilled interns.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:•Manage the execution of integrated direct-response marketing plans for all product releases, to include: direct response digital campaigns, digital/online marketing, PR, social media and customer events.•Own the campaign/events calendar and ensure consistency of materials across the organization.•Act as s brand ambassador through management of public relations, social media and customer community communications.•Direct the work product of internal and external marketing resources, including copywriting, design, layout, photography, video production and production of promotional materials.•Produce content for publication; articles, press releases, blogs, corporate publications, etc.•Manage all marketing-to-sales lead handoffs, data updating processes and monitoring. Work with marketing automation vendors to understand roadmap, enhancements and updates.•Establish success criteria (KPI’s and metrics) for each project. Monitor, evaluate, report and modify based on results.•Conduct regular market competitive analysis to assist with long-term strategic planning.•Monitor and manage the department budget.•Gather customer insights through customer satisfaction surveys and customer advisory board summaries to drive understanding of our customers and markets
