Role & Responsibilities

• This role is focused on database management, analysis and presentation handling very large data sets

• Passion for and expertise in data structure, sources and visualization using cutting edge tools

• Must be a hands-on database manager with ability to fetch, manipulate and categorize data in a variety of forms

• Develop tools to efficiently process large data sets

• Ability to produce well-organized reliable firm reports from a variety of data sources

• Must have experience retrieving and analyzing data using packages such as Pandas and displaying results for internal and external reporting

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience (preferably more) working in an environment where the primary focus is the retrieval and manipulation of data

• Experience should include daily programming jobs and data retrieval, manipulation and visualization as part of the work

• Experience working with and designing GUI and data visualization tools

• Passion for big data, data management and manipulation, and the processing and analysis of very large data sets

• Strong background in Python

• Thorough familiarity with SQL and SQL Server

• Prior experience in finance not required

Education: Undergrad or Master’s degree
