Relo, Philadelphia, $150K to $175K plus BonusThe Senior Enterprise Business Architects ensure that complex architecture decisions are implemented consistently across the assigned line of business and IT, in order to support the business and IT strategy. Primarily responsible for working across the business and technology teams to deliver a 3+ year technology investment plan and implementation roadmap for the business line they are aligned.   • Translate business strategies into a technology investment roadmap.
  • Collaborates with business and technology teams and serves as a subject matter expert to deliver and understand the complex technology roadmap for their assigned business line.
  • Understands complex business unit needs and where business strategy is taking the company from technology perspective and determines ways that systems can be used across enterprise.
  • Define and maintain complex target technology architectures for the business. (Java, Data Analytics, Mobile Applications, etc)
  • Responsible for having an advanced understanding of IT industry trends and enterprise standards and methodology in the Insurance or Financial Services space.
  • The role will be knowledgeable of the complex enterprise systems and applications, and can be called upon to provide subject matter expertise in multiple areas,
  • Influences the technology solutions & technology investments that will deliver the business strategy
  • Provides direction and guidance to scope and architect major technology change projects, leading strategic options analysis, proposing end-to-end solutions, and highlighting trade-offs and risks
  • Review evolving designs of major technology projects to identify strategic opportunities and resolve design issues during delivery
  • Ensure IT projects align with strategic capabilities, target architectures & technology standards.
  • Oversee the management of the application portfolio management system for their area(s) of responsibility.
  • Identify key technology enablers to optimize IT investments including new and innovative uses of emerging enterprise technology platforms
  • Influence key IT vendors and partners.

Requirements;

  • 5-7 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
  • Strong experience partnering with the business.
  • Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Evaluate trends in data or information.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend processes improvements.
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.
  • Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
  • Finds common ground and can gain collaboration among senior/executive management, colleagues and peers; can influence outcomes without directing or commanding.
