Work with Sales Managers, Channel Partners, Integrators, and end-users to drive sales.

• Provide pre-sales technical support and demonstrations, network designs and support

• Deliver technical product training and skill transfer to channel partners, integrators and end users

• Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of intelligent application switching issues and trends as they relate to products

• Drive product sales and provide excellent customer service in region

• Establish relationships with customer and prospect counterparts

• Position involves both presales and some post-sales activities

• Overnight travel expected to be approximately 15-20%

Minimum Qualifications

• 2-5 years technical sales support

• In-depth knowledge of OSI layers 2 – 7

• Demonstrated proficiency at system integration

• Ability to interpret packet captures and diagnose underlying problems

• Ability to troubleshoot complex network environments

• BS in engineering, computer sciences or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with load balancers

• Experience with firewalls

• Experience with web servers and caching

• Understanding of bandwidth management and quality of service concepts

• Knowledge of VPN, SSL and encryption related concepts

• Knowledge of SNMP version 1, 2 & 3 plus the ability to read MIBS
