Senior Director level position. The Senior Network Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Global Command Centers Network Operations Service Desk. The NOC Director will be responsible for managing Technical Analyst Teams, Events Management and Operational Analyst Teams. Overseeing 24x7x365 NOC Operations, receiving and responding to customer escalations (internal and external), ticketing and customer communications. - Manage an operation teams that will support customers globally.
- Consolidated team consists of 162 personnel.
- Ensure that the NOC has adequate shift coverage 24x7x365.
- Must be available at all hours of the day, 24/7 for major outages.
- Provide direct outage leadership in high visibility, high priority outages.
- Determine restoration priority sequencing.
- Participate and lead Port Mortem after action investigations and reports.
- Participate in regular change management process for situation awareness.
- Identification of chronic issues for escalation to Problem Management.
- Provide team direction and leadership.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meeting with direct reports setting clear guidance.
- Set individual and team goals that help achieve the overall organizational goals.
- Develop and define metrics that will be used to measure team and individual performance.
- Interface with local Richmond senior management such as Command Center Manager.
- Resolve all personnel issues in conjunction with Human Resources
- Create a strong team environment.
- Develop and implement viable employee training programs.
- Be an agent of change and not be satisfied with status quo.
Enterprise Description :Directs, manages, plans and administers the operational and administrative activities of the Systems Engineering section. Supports multiple systems through maintenance, modification, problem resolution, etc. to support ongoing delivery of services and/or operations. Manages multiple applications/development projects, or single major complex initiatives if a small area of the development function. Coordinates resources across various applications, operations or projects. Responsible for staffing, performance management and compensation decision-making. Manages budget, monitors progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly. Provides input on policy issues. Typically 7-10 years of experience in managing and directing multi-project development teamsRequired Skills:
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Leadership and vision.
- Experience leading an operations center in a high stress, multi-tasking environment.
- Solid knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management practices.
- Technically minded enough to command respect of the teams.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, routers, switches, servers (including server OS).
- Load Balancer devices (such as F5) and network firewalls.

- Communication Proficiency.

- Recent Security Operations experience within the financial industry.

Academic Requirements:
- Degree in technically related field such as networking, computer science or engineering.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Security+ or CISSP a plus.
