Honesty is generally the best policy. Hiding something or telling a lie can change your personality as you struggle with guilt feelings. It is important, however to distinguish between a question calling for a fact and one calling for an opinion. Always answer the latter to your best advantage and avoid controversy. Stick to the middle of the road, and NEVER apologize for the lack of any specific experience. This falls into the larger vein of putting everything in a positive perspective: AT ALL TIMES project confidence in your abilities. They're not expecting you to walk on water, and if you don't believe in yourself, you won't be able to convince them to believe in you. You want to appear as a problem solver, a "Can-Do" type of person they can count on to tackle new challenges willingly. Being "easy to get along with", a "team player", and a "quick learner" are also very valuable qualities. BE CAREFUL, though, NOT to spend too much time extolling your virtues; humility is the ONLY way to tie the whole package together.
