
Hidden Jobs:Many of my clients are landing positions that were not posted anywhere!Connected Internal and External Recruiters are given a “heads-up” on soon-to-be-open positions. They look into their databases and LinkedIn for likely candidates. Once they locate these candidates they interview and gather resumes. Now they are ready to present when the position opens.This system eliminates advertising for the position and then wading through thousands of resumes.

I have been hired under this system and I have placed candidates with this system when I was recruiting.My FOGs (Friends of Gary) still let me know about these Hidden Jobs so I can send them my COGs (Clients of Gary).Getting Around the "System":Most large, national and multinational companies have a system in place where you and Recruiters MUST copy and paste your resume into a form which is then parsed out to mainly reject candidates.When I was recruiting I worked with a Hiring Authority at a Well-Known Global Company in Chicago who was extremely frustrated with the results!This Executive started giving me advance notice of positions before they were posted in the system. I then sent candidates directly to the Executive. The Executive approved the candidates.When the position was posted I submitted the Pre-Approved Candidates and they were hired! This required making sure the Screener actually viewed them. The Screener eventually caught-on that there was a “System within the System” but, was pleased because the Screener’s statistics improved dramatically!Has this happened to you?Do you wish to discuss?
