Many companies request candidates to fill out an employment application even though the applicant has a resume. Take a pen with you and fill it out completely. DON'T put "see resume": The whole idea is to get the information in a format they are familiar with. If necessary, you can summarize a note that your resume will elaborate. If any blanks don't pertain to you, draw a line through them or write "N/ A" (for "Not Applicable"). This will again show thoroughness and attention to detail. If there is a space for "Salary Desired", write "open". This does NOT mean you are open on what you desire, but that the subject is open for later discussion.
